Benefits Provided to Students

Categories of benefits provided to students by Osh State University:

Category 1 – Orphans studying in secondary schools, colleges, and full-time bachelor’s degree programs;

Category 2 – Students studying in secondary schools, colleges, and full-time bachelor’s degree programs who have lost either their father or mother;

Categories 3–4 – According to the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 557 dated December 10, 2021, students with congenital disabilities of Groups I and II, as well as students with disabilities of Groups II and III studying in secondary schools, colleges, and full-time bachelor’s degree programs, are eligible for tuition-free education;

Category 5 – Students from the same family where three or more siblings study at Osh State University (school, college, or full-time bachelor’s degree programs);

Category 6 – Students whose parents work at Osh State University and have two or more children studying at Osh State University (school, college, or full-time bachelor’s degree programs), provided that the per capita family income does not exceed the subsistence minimum calculated by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic for the previous calendar year;

Category 7 – Students studying in secondary schools, colleges, and full-time bachelor’s degree programs whose father or mother is a person with a Group I or II disability;

Category 8 – Benefits granted to students who achieved 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in national, Asian, or world-level sports championships, as well as in the World Student Universiade, during the last academic year prior to consideration.
